CHELSEA — An attacker hit an acquaintance in the face during a funeral service on West 14th Street, the NYPD said.

The 63-year-old victim was attending the service at Redden’s Funeral Home at 325 W. 14th St., between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday when a man he knew kicked him in the left leg and struck him in the face, police said.

“I’m going to f---ing smack the s--t out of you,” the attacker said at some point during the incident, according to police.

One of the funeral home’s directors said Wednesday that two services took place there on Saturday, but he wasn’t aware of any incident taking place.

“To my knowledge, nothing like that happened inside the building. Maybe it happened outside,” said the director, who declined to give his name.

No one had been arrested in connection with the incident as of Wednesday.

The man “quickly” got out of the booth and found the jacket, but discovered his $165 Bose wireless headphones were missing. Police searched the area, but didn’t find the thief. A manager at The Blue didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday.

When the officer asked the man to show ID, he refused and grabbed the box cutter. The officer told him to put the box cutter away, but the suspect put his hands in his front pant pocket and then moved them to his front sweater pocket and refused to remove them several times. After the officer arrested the man, he discovered a glassine envelope containing marijuana in his front right pocket, police said. A search revealed the man had an active warrant.
