MANHATTAN — A man hanged himself from a beam above the train tracks at the Herald Square subway station, police said.

The man, whose age was not disclosed, was seen on video entering the West 34th Street-Herald Square station, at Sixth Avenue, around 1:42 a.m. on Sunday, the NYPD said.

An MTA worker later discovered him hanging from a steel beam above the subway tracks near the northbound D train platform around 2:55 a.m., police said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, the NYPD said.
