MIDTOWN — New Jersey Transit riders leaving the city could expect 30-minute delays Friday evening because of wire problems near Trenton, according to the agency.

There were disruptions on the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, Raritan Valley, Morris & Essix and Montclair-Boonton lines between Penn Station and Trenton, according to NJ Transit.

It was not immediately clear how long it would take to fix the overhead wire.

Commuters can check NJ Transit's website for updates.
