QUEENS — Thieves beat a 23-year-old man and stole his bag brimming with $15,000 inside a Flushing apartment, NYPD officials said.

The two male suspects punched the victim in the face and then hit him with a blunt object inside 143-59 Ash Ave., near Parsons Boulevard, about 1:15 a.m. Nov. 22, police said.

One of the suspects, seen in a police photo released Wednesday, grabbed the victim's bag of cash and fled, police said. That suspect, described as in his 20s and standing about 5-foot-8, hadn't been arrested as of Thursday morning, police said.

The other suspect, whose identity wasn't immediately released, was taken into custody at the scene, police said.

The suspect who is still at large wore a black jacket, black jeans, a black baseball cap and black sneakers, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
