THE BRONX — A burglar kicked in the front door of a Clason Point home and stole bongo drums, a single bottle of booze and about $500, NYPD officials said.

The thief, who can be seen in surveillance photos released Wednesday night, broke into the home near Commonwealth Avenue and Seward Avenue about 4:35 p.m. on Dec. 27, police said.

The burglar, who is in his late 20s or early 30s, then swiped some bongos, a bottle of "Johnny Daniels Wine" and cash, sources said.

The 53-year-old man who lives there wasn't home at the time, but reviewed surveillance footage of the incident afterwards, sources said.

The thief hadn't been arrested as of Thursday morning, police said.

He was last seen carrying a large blue bag and wearing a black shirt with blue jeans and black shoes, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
