THE BRONX — A woman fought off a man who exposed himself before trying to pull her pants down and rape her in mid-December, NYPD officials said.

The 40-year-old woman was getting out of a car on Southern Boulevard near Tiffany Street about 7:20 p.m. on Dec. 13 when the suspect attacked her, police said.

She fended off the attacker and sent him running down Southern Boulevard, police said.

The suspect, who can be seen in police video released Wednesday morning, is about 16 years old, stands 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds, officials said.

He was last seen wearing a gray bubble coat, a black hoodie, black sweatpants, black sneakers and a multi-colored backpack, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
