MIDTOWN — Enjoy it while you can.
After a weekend of frigid weather and our first substantial snowfall of the season, temperatures are expected to rise into the 50s by the end of the week, according to forecasters.
The balmy highs will arrive Thursday along with a chance of rain in the morning, National Weather Service spokeswoman Faye Barthhold said.
The rain should subside by early afternoon, leaving a spring-like afternoon, she said.
“The clouds stick, but it will be a quite a bit warmer,” Barthold added.
Thursday night will dip to a relatively pleasant mid-40s.
Friday will be partly cloudy with highs around 50 degrees, before plunging back into the upper 20s at night.
Winter will make its return in the weekend, with a chance of snow and temperatures in the mid-30s on Saturday, according to the NWS.
