QUEENS — A woman who used eyeliner to draw a mustache onto her face robbed a Woodhaven Bank of $4,000 in cash last week, police said.

The robber walked into the New York Community Bank at 80-35 Jamaica Ave., near Forest Parkway, on Jan. 6 around 5:30 p.m. and passed a demand note and a white shopping bag to a teller, according to authorities.

The teller complied and emptied her drawer, placing $4,298 inside the bag which she handed back to the suspect, authorities said.

No one was injured in the robbery and the woman then fled with the cash on foot, they added.

Police released a surveillance image of the suspect over the weekend and described her as approximately 23 years old, standing 5-foot-5 and weighing roughly 120 pounds, with brown eyes and glasses.

She was last seen wearing red pants with a checkerboard pattern, black coat, black shoes and a black hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
