BROOKLYN — A woman was raped at knifepoint by a livery driver after he drove her home in Sunset Park early Saturday, NYPD officials said.
The 29-year-old woman got into the driver's red minivan about 3 a.m., police said.
Officials didn't release the area where she was picked up or say whether she had called for the cab or hailed it on the street.
He drove her home, then pulled a knife and demanded she hand over some money — and she complied, police said. Then the driver, who was described as being in his early 20s, climbed into the back seat and attacked her, police said.
He drove off after the attack and hadn't been arrested as of Monday morning, police said.
The woman walked into the 68th Precinct stationhouse to report the attack and was treated at an area hospital, police said.
