BATTERY PARK CITY — A man's Rolex was stolen from his locker at the Brookfield Place's Equinox gym, police said.
A 39-year-old SoHo man left a $5,000 Rolex in his locker at the 225 Liberty St. gym before working out at about 5:45 p.m. on Dec. 28.,and discovered it missing when he returned to retrieve the timepiece the next day, according to authorities.
Earlier in December, a man had his $10,000 watch taken from the same locker room, police said.
Police said it was unclear whether the thefts were connected. Investigations into the thefts continue.
Equinox did not immediately return a request for comment.
