STATEN ISLAND — A video of a woman who was pictured crawling through the Staten Island Mall on the end of a leash after being reported missing to police has surfaced on Facebook — in which she claims to be OK.

Anna Teshu, 23, who was last seen at her mother's Hillman Avenue home on Christmas Eve, says in the Facebook posting that she'd run away to be with her new husband.

"I’m all right. I couldn’t be happier being married," said Teshu in the more than 11 minute video that was posted Tuesday night.

"It’s the life that I always wanted but never been able to have."

As a man repeatedly coaches her from out of frame, she tells the camera, "This is just to prove that I'm alive, breathing and well and doing all right ... If I wasn't all right, you'd all know. I'd be dead."

Police said they have had no updates and she is still considered missing.

While Teshu didn't reveal where she was, she recently posted on her page asking for somebody to adopt her fish before she moves to North Carolina.

"I’m fine, living the life," she says in the video. "I’m OK."

Teshu gained attention in 2015 when photographs of her wearing a leash and walking on all fours with her then-fiancè were posted online. That man is a different one to the man she refers to as her current husband.

In October 2015, she was arrested after her fiancè's German Shepherd, Scout, died of a heat stroke after being locked in a car on a 91 degree day, the Staten Island Advance reported.

Teshu was charged with animal cruelty but was later found mentally unfit to stand trial, according to the Advance.
