BATTERY PARK CITY — A man had a hat stolen right off his head while strolling in Battery Park City, police said.
The 44-year-old was walking across the corner of Warren Street and River Terrace on Dec. 27 at about 8 p.m., when a 16-year-old boy approached him, grabbed the $80 hat from his head, and ran off, police said.
Police were still investigating the theft.
