MIDTOWN — Police arrested and charged a Bronx man with a lengthy rap sheet for fatally shooting another man next to Bryant Park.

Officers arrested Terrell Dupree, 38, near his home on East 223rd Street early Tuesday morning after getting a tip about his identity, according to the NYPD.

Dupree — who has 18 prior arrests, including for assault and weapons possesion— was charged with murder and criminal possession of a loaded gun after shooting Terrance Walker, 27, in the torso on the corner of Sixth Avenue and West 40th Street on Dec. 17, a police spokesman said.

It was still unclear if Dupree knew Walker or what motivated the shooting, the spokesman added.

Dupree was seen on video footage casually walking into a convenience store about an hour after Walker was killed.

He was expected to be arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court either late Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.
