LENOX HILL — A Bronx man was arrested after trying to cut another man with a box cutter during an argument over a parking space on East 72nd Street, police said.

Lenny Castillo, 32, swung the box cutter at a man's stomach while arguing with him over a parking space in front of 525 E. 72nd St., between York Avenue and the FDR Drive, around 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 29, police said.

The victim was not injured in the incident. Police didn't have more information about what was said during the fight.

Castillo was arrested at 10:35 a.m. and charged with attempted assault, two counts of menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon, according to authorities.

He was released without bail pending his next court date on March 9, according to the Manhattan District Attorney's office.

His attorney did not immediately return a call for comment on Tuesday.
