Bushwick Armed Robber Snatches 4 iPhones From Teen Shop Clerk, NYPD Says

BUSHWICK — An armed robber flashed a handgun inside a cellphone store before demanding money and phones from a teen store employee, police said. 

The 16-year-old clerk at Kevin Wireless, at 1492 Myrtle Ave., told the robber he didn't have any cash but complied when the man when he asked for phones, handing him four iPhones worth around $770, police said.

The robber, last seen wearing a black hooded coat and a gray-and-black knitted hat, fled down the street, where he was captured by surveillance cameras, police said.

Workers at Kevin Wireless couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
