HELL’S KITCHEN — A farm-to-table market with a ramen bar, a “cut-to-order” cheese and charcuterie counter, and a range of foods prepared in-house is coming to West 57th Street.

Chelsea-based Hudson Market plans to open a second outpost at the base of the Helena building at 601 W. 57th Street, near 11th Avenue, this May, it said.

Like the outpost in Chelsea, the new market will feature coffee and juice bars, self-serve tables with hot and cold foods, a vegetable and grain bar and a “carvery” with roasted meats prepared on site, said the market’s director of retail, David Grotenstein.

It will also sell groceries, fresh produce and freshly made sandwiches, paninis and sushi.

New additions at the site, will include a Japanese-style ramen bar and a counter where patrons can order various cheeses and charcuterie, Grotenstein added.

“The store on 57th Street is about twice the size… of the one in Chelsea,” he explained. “We try and focus on [products that are] local, or [from] New York State.”

The market is replacing the Hudson Eatery, which closed last spring.

“The location is very exciting for us,” Grotenstein said. “We’re very much looking forward to getting in, literally on the ground floor, of this new community that’s growing there.”
