HARLEM — A man was shot in the right hand on Tuesday, following an argument he had with another man near a Harlem intersection, according to police.

The suspect, who was wearing a blue peacoat, shot the 32-year-old man in the right hand around 1 p.m., after they had a verbal dispute near the corner of West 114th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, authorities said. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.

The victim took himself to the Harlem Hospital Center, according to police.

It was not immediately clear if the two knew each other.

The suspect has not been found yet and no arrest was made as of Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
