NEW SPRINGVILLE — A woman sprayed Mace in the faces of two elderly men during an argument in the food court of the Staten Island Mall, prosecutors said.

Sherese Crawford, 32, got into a fight with the men, 74 and 73, at 11:15 a.m. Thursday before pulling out a can of Mace, according to a criminal complaint.

She sprayed the Mace in their eyes and then pushed the 73-year-old man, prosecutors said.

Crawford was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing, the Staten Island District Attorney's office said.

She was awaiting arraignment on Friday afternoon.
