BROOKLYN — A truck driver was arrested for fatally striking his co-worker who was unloading Christmas trees from their vehicle in Marine Park on Monday night, police said.

Darren Danks, 56, of Long Island City, put the truck in reverse and ran over his colleague on Avenue U and Stuart Street, pinning him underneath the vehicle about 10:20 p.m., the NYPD said.

The unidentified victim was taken to Lutheran Hospital, where he died. His identity was not released pending family notification.

Danks was charged with driving without a license and was expected to be arraigned, according to police.
