DITMARS — A shoplifter swiped 55 tubes of toothpaste from a Rite Aid in Queens, shoving a worker to the ground when she tried to stop him from taking off with the goods, the NYPD said.

The man entered the drugstore at 43-02 Ditmars Blvd. around 9 a.m. Friday, where he stole 43 tubes of Colgate and 12 tubes of Sensodyne toothpaste, police said.

When a 43-year-old Rite Aid worker attempted to stop the thief, he pushed her to the floor and took off with the lifted merchandise, according to police.

The store declined to comment on the incident.

The suspect, who wore a gray hoodie and a dark jacket, was described as around 27 years old, 5-foot-7 and 185 pounds, police said.
