CHELSEA — A four-story building on West 23rd Street could soon be replaced by a 15-story condominium.

Flatiron-based real estate agency Pan-Brothers Associates filed plans for a new mixed-use project at 128 W. 23rd St., between Sixth and Seventh avenues, city Department of Buildings records show.

The 40,230-square-foot residential portion of the building will house 33 units, while a 3,600-square-foot commercial space would occupy the building’s ground floor, the filing shows.

The penthouse on the top floor is slated for a private roof deck, and building residents would have access to a gym, a second-floor terrace, a shared roof deck and a lounge area, YIMBY reported.

The architectural firm behind condo buildings at 300 W. 18th St. and 245 W. 14th St. — both near Eighth Avenue — is designing the building, the outlet said.

Glass and mirror shop King David Gallery occupied the existing retail space for years at the West 23rd Street before moving across the street last year.

The DOB has yet to issue any permits for the building plans, and representative for Pan-Brothers did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday.
