NEW YORK CITY — A subway rider had her legs spray-painted while being taunted by another passenger on an uptown 4 train Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The woman, who boarded the train at the Bowling Green station, told police the bizarre assault happened at about 4:40 p.m., just as she was saying goodbye to another rider at 86th Street.

All of a sudden, a man, described as in his early 30s, started spray-painting the 45-year-old victim's legs, as a woman, said to be in her 20s, egged the spray-painter on, saying "I hate Dominican b-tches," police said.

The victim, from The Bronx, got out of the train at 161st Street and reported what happened to police.

The incident, first reported by the Daily News, is still under investigation, police said. No arrests have been made as of Friday.
