MIDTOWN — The NYPD is asking New Yorkers to keep their eyes peeled for a man accused of groping a woman on a Midtown train at rush hour last month, according to a police report.
The assault took place just before 8 a.m. on Nov. 30, when the victim, a 20-year-old woman, was on a southbound 6 train near Grand Central, police said.
The suspect — described by police as a man between 25 and 30 years old, wearing a red hoodie with a green jacket — approached the woman and grabbed her breasts, according to a police report.
The man escaped, but not before the woman managed to snap a photo of him with her cell phone, police said.
Anyone with information in regards to these incidents is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit tips on the website.
