HARLEM — A man was fatally shot in the stomach on a Harlem street Wednesday night, NYPD officials said.

The 32-year-old man, identified by sources as Raheem McWhite, was walking south when he suddenly collapsed outside 350 Lenox Ave., near West 128th Street, about 6:45 p.m., according to surveillance video, police said.

Workers in a nearby restaurant rushed out and called 911, an NYPD spokesman said.

McWhite was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital, police said.

There were no immediate arrests, police said.

The motive for the shooting wasn't immediately clear, police said.

McWhite has been arrested 20 times on drug, weapons and sex crime charges, police said.
