BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A 25-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after shooting his ex’s boyfriend in Brooklyn, police said.

Officials charged Stephon Nedd, of Flatbush, with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon, among other charges for the Dec. 12 shooting.

The 28-year-old victim was walking to a car on Gates Avenue near Marcy Avenue with his girlfriend when Nedd approached and fought with the victim before firing several rounds, according to police.

The victim was shot in the leg and suffered a shattered hip, detectives said, and Nedd fled in the car with the woman.

Nedd has a total of 18 prior arrests, police said, with one of the most recent incidents involving forgery.

He was remanded for the Dec. 12 shooting and is due back in court on Dec. 20, according to city records.

Attorney information for Nedd was not immediately available.
