TRIBECA — A 17-year-old was robbed and stabbed in an apparent setup related to a sale of sweatshirts that he'd arranged on Facebook, police said.

According to police sources, the victim had planned to meet with another teen at Pier 25 in TriBeCa on Dec. 9 who said she wanted to buy sweatshirts he'd posted for sale on Facebook.

But, when the 17-year-old headed to their arranged spot at about 3:30 p.m., near pier's skate park, he was met by the girl, as well as two other teen boys.

The male teens quickly demanded he turn over the sweatshirts, and one of them took out a knife. When one of the teens, a 17-year-old, pushed the victim to the ground, he stabbed him in the thigh, causing minor injuries, police said.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital and was released after getting two stitches to his thigh.

Police were soon able to arrest the two male teens. They were both charged with first and second degree robbery, court records show. Their names were withheld because of their age. They're due back in court on Dec. 21.

Police were still questioning the 17-year-old girl as of Tuesday to determine her role in the robbery.
