THE BRONX — A man was arrested for fatally shooting a Morrisania man the night before Thanksgiving, police said.

Shamon Dilligard, 34, shot 37-year-old Ikenna Taylor in the back on Nov. 23 behind 955 Cauldwell Ave., near East 163rd Street, according to the NYPD.

The motive for the shooting was not immediately known, an NYPD spokeswoman said. Both men lived about a block apart from each other on East 163rd Street, she added.

Investigators nabbed Dilligard Wednesday and charged him with second-degree murder.

He was expected to be arraigned in Bronx Criminal Court Wednesday night.
