TIMES SQUARE — An interdenominational church’s Christmas production is bringing llamas, mini-horses and donkeys to the Crossroads of the World.

The Times Square Church will stage a Nativity play called “Bethlehem on Broadway" with more than 100 actors and live animals outside its building on West 51st Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue, this Saturday, Dec. 17.

Llamas, alpacas, donkeys, goats and mini-horses will be featured in the production, a spokeswoman for the church said.

“Our desire is to have our neighbors and New York City at large be transported from the busy-ness of today’s 21st century urban life to that special day in the town of Bethlehem when the greatest birth of all time took place,” the church’s associate pastor David Ham said in a statement.

Six free, 40-minute performances will take place throughout the day Saturday — each starting on the hour — between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., the release said.

Along with the “Bethlehem on Broadway” performances, the church will put on three performances of a “Gift of Christmas” puppet production for children at its third-floor annex.

It will also be leading tours of the Mark Hellinger Theatre at 237 W. 51st St., where a holiday market featuring handmade gifts will be open between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

A full schedule of events can be found on the church’s website.
