Teen Punched by Man Shouting 'F--- You, Indian!' in Subway, Police Say

By Kathleen Culliton | December 12, 2016 7:10pm

QUEENS — A teenager on her way to school was punched in the ear by a man who shouted, “F— you, Indian,” police said Monday.

The 18-year-old victim was in the 80th Street-Hudson Street A line station on Liberty Avenue around 9:20 a.m. on Dec. 8 when the man assaulted her, police said.

The man punched her in the ear, slammed her into a mezzanine door, then fled the station, police said.

The suspect — who is believed to be a 6-foot-tall man in his 30s with short hair and a blotchy complexion — had argued with the station agent before attacking the girl, police said.

The victim refused medical attention, police said.

The suspect remained at large as of Monday evening and the investigation is ongoing.
