BROOKLYN — A 9-year-old boy was critically hurt when a car mounted the sidewalk in Marine Park Friday morning, NYPD officials said.
The boy was on the southeast corner at the intersection of Avenue P and Ryder Street when a Nissan sedan hit a box truck and swerved onto the sidewalk about 8:30 a.m., police said.
His injuries were considered life threatening and he was treated at Maimonides Medical Center where he's listed in stable condition, police said.
Both drivers remained on the scene and neither was ticketed or charged, police said.
