TRIBECA — A thief drove off with a TriBeCa bakeshop's van — and its freshly baked bread.

According to police, employees of Grandaisy Bakery at 250 W. Broadway were loading bread into a van at about 3 p.m. on Nov. 27. Workers left the keys in the ignition while they stepped away from the van, for about 10 minutes.

When they returned, the van, worth $20,000, along with $500 worth of bread inside, were gone.

Police were still investigating the theft.
