BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A man stole $700 from a parked food truck after climbing through its window, police said.

The burglar entered the Sammy Grill truck, which was stationed in a lot at 585 DeKalb Ave. between Nostrand Avenue and Walworth Street, just before 2 a.m. on Oct. 16, officials said.

Surveillance released by police on Wednesday shows the man crawling into the vendor vehicle and rifling through a register before putting cash in his pockets.

The suspect, who officials described as having a chin-strap beard, was last seen wearing a baseball cap, dark-colored pants and a multi-colored sweater.

Police released surveillance months after the incident after only recently acquiring the video following an investigation, an NYPD spokesman said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477).
