MARINERS HARBOR — A pair of robbers pistol-whipped a man before stealing his wallet and SUV, police said.

The 40-year-old parked his 2002 red Chevrolet Tahoe in front of 199 Granite Ave. on Nov. 13 when the suspects approached him at 1:45 a.m., the NYPD said.

The male suspect displayed a gun, hit the victim in the head with it then stole his wallet with $2,500 cash inside, police said.

The male and female suspect then got into the victim's SUV and drove away, police said.

It's unclear why police waited nearly a month to release information about the incident.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
