EAST HARLEM — A 71-year-old man was attacked following an accident on the Willis Avenue Bridge, the NYPD said.

The man was driving his car near 125th Street and Second Avenue around 4:20 p.m. on Nov. 22 when another car sideswiped the victim as it was driven onto the bridge, police said.

Both the victim and the suspect pulled over and got out of their cars and a heated confrontation started, police said.

The suspect then punched the man in the mouth and the face, which caused swelling and bruises, before running back to his car and driving off, police said.

The victim received medical attention at the scene, police said.

The suspect is described as a male in his 30s driving a car with a Florida license plate, police said.
