Fans of Zadie Smith have the chance to hear the author read from her latest novel this weekend.

The Paula Cooper Gallery, along with 192 Books, is presenting a free reading with Smith at 521 W. 21st St., between 10th and 11th avenues, this Saturday at 7 p.m.

Smith will read excerpts from “Swing Time,” which follows a “close but complicated childhood friendship” between two girls, both of whom aspire to be dancers.

The event will be first-come, first-seated, and space will be limited to 125 chairs and standing room, 192 Books manager Todd Colby said.

“We’re hoping it’s super, super packed, but I would recommend getting there about a half-hour early,” he said.
