Thai Restaurant Lime Leaf Closes After Decade on W. 72nd Street

UPPER WEST SIDE — A well-known Thai restaurant has closed after a decade in business.

Lime Leaf,  at 128 West 72nd Street between Amsterdam and Columbus avenues, was vacant and closed during lunchtime Thursday with a "for rent" sign on the door.

listing for the site was asking $15,000 per month in rent.

Lime Leaf says on its website that opened in 2006, calling itself "a neighborhood staple for Upper West Side residents."

The owners could not be reached by phone for comment Thursday.

The restaurant joins four others on the south side of the block that are also closed, including Crepes and Delices, Taco Grill, Amcook Fusion and Soomsoom
