STATEN ISLAND — A group attacked a delivery driver in St. George, stole his wallet then used it to buy electronics at a Brooklyn Target, police said.

The 64-year-old victim was making a food delivery at 1457 Carroll Place on Nov. 10 at 8 p.m. when three people approached him, the NYPD said. It's unclear why details weren't released by the NYPD until three weeks later.

The suspects punched and kicked the deliveryman several times before they took his wallet and fled, police said.

The victim refused medical attention.

One of the suspects was caught on surveillance cameras on Nov. 13 using a stolen Chase credit card to buy $435 worth of electronics at the Target at 1598 Flatbush Ave., police said.

Police described the suspect as between 18 to 22-years-old with a medium build last seen wearing a gray Nike hoodie, blue jeans and white sneakers.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
