BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A new gym is opening on Fulton Street just in time for those New Year’s resolutions.
Blink Fitness at 1413 Fulton St., near Brooklyn Avenue, is slated to open before Christmas, according to a company representative.
The 15,200-square-foot space features two floors of cardio and strength-training equipment with memberships starting at $15 a month.
The gym takes over the former space of the Bedford-Stuyvesant Health Center, which relocated across the street in 2012.
The Bed-Stuy location will be Blink Fitness’ 50th gym opening since the chain’s inception in 2011, a representative said.
In celebration of the milestone, customers who join any location in December will be entered to win a one-year “Green” level, all-access membership, which includes discounts at Modell’s and Citi Bike.
Blink Fitness joins Planet Fitness, located a couple of blocks away on Fulton Street and Arlington Place, which opened in the neighborhood in October 2015.
