STATEN ISLAND — A woman threw a patio table over a balcony at the St. George Ferry Terminal, prosecutors said.

Zowie Tesar, 39, whose address was listed as a Project Hospitality drop-off center, went into the outdoor patio area of the River Dock Cafè after the restaurant closed Tuesday at 12:45 a.m., according to the criminal complaint.

She then grabbed a wooden patio table from the seating area and threw it over the balcony where it shattered on a Department of Transportation loading area, a law enforcement source said.

No one was hit by the table but several people were walking under the balcony at the time, prosecutors said.

Tesar was charged with criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and criminal trespass at her arraignment, the Staten Island District Attorney's office said.

Her bail was set at $1,000 bond or $500 cash and she's due back in court Nov. 30, according to online court records.

Tesar was arrested five other times this year for disorderly conduct, court records show.

Her lawyer could not be reached for comment Friday.
