NEW SPRINGVILLE — Police are looking for a man who tried to rob a New Springville bank while wearing a ski mask.

The suspect walked into the Bank of America at 2881 Richmond Ave. wearing dark sunglasses and a ski mask Wednesday at about 10:08 a.m., police said.

The man handed the 32-year-old female teller a note, but left the bank on foot without any cash, the NYPD said.

Police described the suspect as between 40 to 50 years-old, 5-foot 6-inches tall with a slim build.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, gray sweat pants, black sneakers, dark sunglasses, dark gloves, a ski mask and a gray and blue Carolina Panthers NFC Conference Champions hat, police said.
