BROOKLYN — A teen boy punched a 12-year-old girl in the face and then stole her groceries and $3 in Coney Island, according to the NYPD.

The girl was walking along Stillwell Avenue on Nov. 21 at about 3:35 p.m. when the teen approached her from behind and grabbed her by the neck, police said. He then pulled her into an alley next to 2834 Stillwell Ave., punched her and then stole her groceries and $3 in cash.

The girl suffered bruising to her face and refused medical attention at the scene, an NYPD spokesman said.

The suspect is about 15 years old and was last seen wearing a black hoodie and carrying a black book bag with red trim.
