UPPER EAST SIDE — Here's a purrfect way to spend your Black Friday, cat lovers: Adopt a new feline friend who's in need of a home.

The ASPCA is set to host its sixth annual "Cat Friday" event Nov. 25, a day of free cat and kitten adoption at the animal protection organization's 424 E. 92nd St. adoption center.

More than 100 cats and kittens will be available for adoption, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m, with all adoption fees waived.

Here's one of many cats looking for a home:

Adopted pets will also go home with a free collar and personalized identification tag, and those who adopt cats older than one year will receive a free hard cat carrier, while supplies last, according to the organization.

Plus, all cat adopters will be eligible to enter into a contest for tickets to the Broadway show "Cats" — a giveaway that prompted a "meet-and-greet" between the felines of "Cats," and the cats of the ASPCA.

Those hoping to adopt Friday must be 21 older, and come with a government issued photo ID and separate proof of current address.

“The holiday season can be a great time to welcome a new pet into your home,” Gail Buchwald, senior vice president of the ASPCA Adoption Center said in a statement. “This year, consider skipping the long lines at department stores and spend your Black Friday expanding your family with a new furry friend.”
