MIDTOWN — The shop at donaldjtrump.com is hawking a red, 24-karat gold “Make America Great Again” cap ornament for $149.
The glittery collectible is made of brass and “is sure to make any tree stand out,” according to the website.
The ornament was sold out by Thursday afternoon, but it has also gotten more than 1,800 Amazon customer reviews and is averaging just 1.5 stars.
Some of the reviews were not kind:
"It tried to put my nativity figures into an internment camp. Would not buy again," wrote user Emily.
"I hung it on my tree, but it is so yuge that it has totally unbalanced my whole tree. No matter where I hang it, the tree leans waaaaaay over to the far right," wrote user Simon Webb.
"When I hung this on my tree, my Madonna figurine began weeping real tears!" wrote user momofboys4and2.
“Its small size makes it easy for tiny hands to handle,” commented J.L. Switzer.
But user W.D. gave the ornament a five-star rating.
"It's awesome and just the change my tree needed rather than the same old ones year after year," W.D. posted. "The tree is already looking better, more successful and more respected by all the other Christmas decorations in the house."
