QUEENS — A man was fatally shot in a feud that broke out in a Howard Beach apartment Tuesday, an NYPD spokesman said.
Christopher Cognato, 30, was shot in the arm, neck and chest by Joseph Amatuccio, 34, in his apartment at 86-11 151st Ave., near 85th Street, at 6:25 p.m., police said
The argument seemed to be about money or drugs, according to authorities.
Cognato, who lived nearby on 102nd Street, was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital.
Amatuccio was arrested at the scene on charges of murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
He was still awaiting arraignment as of Wednesday afternoon, records show.
The two men knew each other, but the extent of their relationship wasn't immediately clear, police said.
