NEW SPRINGVILLE — A woman's SUV was stolen with her 3-month-old son inside after she left the vehicle running to grab a cup of coffee at a New Springville Dunkin' Donuts, police say.
The 30-year-old woman was on her way to Babies 'R' Us with her son on Saturday when she pre-ordered a cup of coffee from the Dunkin' Donuts at 77 Richmond Hill Road, a spokesman for the NYPD said.
The women pulled her 2008 Ford into the parking lot and went into the store while leaving her car running and her baby inside, police said.
When she returned at about 10:10 a.m. her car and child were gone, the police said.
Police received a call at about 10:34 a.m. of a SUV with a baby inside parked near 3rd Avenue and 54th Street in Sunset Park. When officers arrived at 10:50 a.m., they found the child inside the car uninjured, the NYPD said.

No arrests have been made, but police said they have a suspect in the robbery.
