MARINERS HARBOR — Two Brooklyn-companies will relocate to Staten Island after buying up an industrial lot for $13 million.

World Wide Plumbing and Royal Food Baza bought the 9-acre, divided industrial complex at 125 and 175 Lake Ave., real estate brokerage Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates announced.

"The property afforded buyers a highly desirable location with existing structures at a fraction of the cost of compatible properties and sites in Brooklyn," said Gary Mayzlin, of KDA who represented both companies, in a statement.

Plumbing supply company World Wide Plumbing, currently based in Borough Park, outgrew its 15th Avenue spot and needed new space to relocate, Mayzlin said.

They eventually bought the 7-acre spot at 125 Lake Ave. with a warehouse building for about $9 million.

Royal Food Baza, which operated the Russian-food supermarkets Net Coase, bought the subdivided lot at 175 Lake Ave. for about $4.05 million — and plan to use it to house their food distributions and processing operations, Mayzlin said.
