HELL’S KITCHEN — The chef behind popular Lower East Side noodle spot Ivan Ramen is trying his hand at the pizza business.

Ivan Orkin — who also runs Ivan Ramen Slurp Shop inside Gotham West Market, as well as two ramen eateries in Tokyo — plans to open a “neighborhood bakery” called Corner Slice inside the food court at West 45th Street and 11th Avenue early next year, his team said in a release.

The eatery will serve homemade baked goods and pizza, as well as La Colombe coffee.

“I’ve been passionate about coffee for a long time and have always felt that a great homemade nosh goes hand in hand with great coffee,” Orkin said in a statement. “And it goes without saying that as a New Yorker, I’m passionate about pizza.”

He and his business partners “looked to the city’s original Italian caffés, neighborhood bakeries and the humble pizzerias of their youth for inspiration,” the release said.
