BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Police are searching for two gunmen wanted for an October shooting on Stuyvesant Avenue.

The suspects approached a 26-year-old man in front of a building at 143 Stuyvesant Ave., near Greene Avenue, around 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 28, officials said.

They fired multiple shots, hitting the victim in his hip, ankle, foot and calf, according to police, then fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV.

Emergency responders rushed the victim to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

It was unclear whether the victim and gunmen were known to each other, officials said.

No arrests had been made as of Thursday afternoon.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
