TIMES SQUARE — A groper grabbed a woman’s buttocks as she waited for a 2 train at the Times Square station, the NYPD said.

The 35-year-old woman was standing on the uptown 2 train platform at the 42nd Street-Times Square station around 5 a.m. on Nov. 7 when a man she didn’t know approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks, police said.

The woman snapped a photo of the man with her cellphone after they both got on the train, then exited a few stops later, the NYPD said.

Police are now searching for a man in his 30s with brown eyes and curly brown hair who was last seen wearing an orange jacket, blue jeans and a red shirt.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
