MIDTOWN — A bar patron shoved another patron and called her a “c--t” after the two got into an argument over the results of the presidential election, the NYPD said.

The 51-year-old woman from Florida was inside Papillon Bistro and Bar at 22 E. 54th St., near Madison Avenue, around 1:20 a.m. on Nov. 9 when an approximately 50-year-old man started arguing with her over the election results, police said.

At some point during their argument, the man cursed at the woman, pushed her and said, “You c--t,” the NYPD said.

Both of the patrons were intoxicated at the time, police said. Authorities did not specify the exact nature of the argument.

The woman didn’t suffer any injuries during the incident and refused medical attention at the scene, the NYPD said.

No one had been arrested in connection with the incident as of Monday, police said.

The bar’s manager did not immediately respond to request for comment Tuesday.
